The December-January issue of The Aiken Horse featured Bridle Creek Equestrian community. The cover showed Jessica Hampf and Doug Payne, both upper level event riders, hacking past a pond on the property.
We enjoyed our visit to Bridle Creek. It was very peaceful and quiet: a quiet before the storm, as this was just before the crowd of event riders came to town. Now, Bridle Creek is brimming with activity. It is serious activity: many of these riders are Olympic veterans, and other are Olympic hopefuls with their eyes firmly on the prize.
